About Local Garage Doors

102,000+ Garage Doors Serviced | Thousands of 5-Star Reviews | California, Nevada, and Arizona Licensed | In Business Since 2013

Local Garage Doors is one of the largest residential garage door companies in California, Nevada, and Arizona. We are growing, and we are looking for a high-performing leader ready to take ownership of an established and growing market. This role is responsible for the operational performance, profitability, employee development, customer experience, and long-term growth of the region. The Area Manager will lead technicians, installers, apprentices, warehouse personnel, and future leaders while ensuring the market continues to grow and operate at a high level.

This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from behind a desk. We expect our Area Managers to be present, engaged, and fully invested in both the results and the people producing them. If you have led teams in the home service industry, know how to build talent from the ground up, and are motivated by the challenge of growing a market, this is the opportunity you have been looking for.

Why Work Here

At Local Garage Doors, we believe great leaders deserve great opportunities.

We have serviced more than 102,000 garage doors and continue to expand across California, Nevada, and Arizona. Our Area Managers receive the support, technology, recruiting resources, and operational infrastructure necessary to build successful teams and growing markets.

We continue to expand throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona, creating opportunities for Area Managers to build teams, develop leaders, and grow their careers alongside the company. Every new market we enter creates demand for strong, experienced leadership, and we fill those roles from within whenever possible.

You will be supported by ServiceTitan, Dispatch Pro, advanced reporting tools, company-provided technology, and dedicated recruiting, HR, accounting, and operations support teams so you can stay focused on building your market and your team.

Several of our current leaders advanced through this organization by consistently developing their people, improving results, and taking full ownership of their markets. If you are looking for a company where your leadership will be recognized and rewarded with real advancement, this is it.

If you enjoy developing people, improving performance, and taking ownership of results, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while building a long-term leadership career.

You Should Apply If:

  • You take full ownership of outcomes and do not wait for someone else to fix what is broken
  • Developing people is something you do with genuine commitment, not just on paper
  • You lead through your actions, and your team would describe you the same way
  • You are wired for action and have a track record of making things happen consistently
  • You combine personal drive with strong business instincts, and performance follows you

You Should Not Apply If:

  • You work best in a low-interaction, heads-down environment
  • You view management as a lighter version of the work rather than a harder one
  • Technology platforms and operational software slow you down rather than support you
